Bezant Resources has awarded a contract for a conceptual mining study of its Mankayan copper gold project in the Philippines.

Bezant said TWP Australia will focus on the infrastructure and surface facilities while Mining Plus will work as a subcontractor and will be responsible for mine design and scheduling.

The Mankayan copper gold project has an estimated mineral resource of 1.1 million tons of copper and 3.7 million ounces of gold.

The study is expected to be complete in four months.
