An explosion in a Russian coal mine in the Kemerovo region on Saturday has killed at least one miner and injured two others.
Sixty four miners were working in the mine.
All survivors have been safely evacuated, government officials said.
A preliminary investigation has revealed the blast happened because of a high build-up of methane gas, according to local sources.
In May, at least 67 miners and rescue workers died in methane blasts at a coal mine in southern Siberia.
