The Gyama mining project is one of eight priority construction projects in Tibet, which has a daily processing capacity of 6,000t.

CNNG, a subsidiary of Tibet Huatailong Mining Development, started construction of the CPY8bn ($1.18bn) project in 2008.

The mine is designed to have a total daily processing capacity of 15,000t.
