Avanti Mining has appointed engineering company AMEC to prepare a feasibility study for its Kitsault molybdenum mine in northern British Columbia, Canada.

The Kitsault molybdenum mine has proven and probable reserves of 215 million tons grading 0.085% Mo and containing 368 million pounds of recoverable molybdenum.

The feasibility study is expected to be complete by the end of 2010.
