Explor Resources has started exploration work at its Montrose Gold Property in the Larder Lake mining division in Ontario, Canada.

Explor will cut a total line of 50km and conduct a geophysical programme of mag/VLF and IP survey.

The initial phase of the exploration programme will ascertain the location of the structural targets through an analysis of existing technical data, outcrop sampling, ground exploration and geophysics.

The second phase will involve diamond drilling of the identified targets.

The property is situated in a greenstone belt that is made up of sequences of meta-sedimentary rocks similar to the Temiskaming meta-sedimentary rocks present in the Kirkland Lake region.

Explor owns 184 mining claims across 3,432ha in the area.
