Australian gold miner Kingsgate has found high gold grades during resource development drilling around the northern Q pits at Chatree North, Thailand.

Drill hole 7101RC returned high grades including 16m of 9.9g per tonne gold from 34m down hole and 10m of 14.4g per tonne gold.

The drill hole is an extension of a previously identified high-grade gold mineralised zone, located 150m away.

The Q Pits area has shown potential for wide mineralised zones which could lead to an expansion of future pits.
