Aben Resources has commenced the first phase of its diamond drill programme at its Justin gold project in Western Yukon, Canada.

The 16km² Justin gold project has the potential to host significant epithermal, skarn and sediment-hosted gold mineralisation, Aben has said.

The firm will conduct mapping in the north-west and south-east corners of the Justin gold property, along with mapping of the geology in the general area of the Pow Zone to follow up anomalies from the 2010 geophysical survey.

The drill programme is expected to take four to five weeks to complete.
