Contract mining and construction firm Macmahon Holdings has secured various Australian mining contracts worth $90m.

The first contract involves predevelopment work adjacent to current operations at BHP Billiton Iron Ore's Wheelarra mine and mining operations, and ore re-handling at Newmont's Boddington gold mine in Western Australia.

In another contract, Macmahon will provide underground development works at Newcrest's Cadia Hill mine and the Cadia East project.

Macmahon will also provide production drilling, cablebolting and shotcreting services for Panoramic Resources' Savannah project, also in Western Australia.
