Firestone Recovers Diamonds at Lesotho Project

Firestone Diamonds has recovered high-quality diamonds from a 3,000t sample of K5 material at its Liqhobong mine located in Lesotho, Africa. The results have confirmed that 33 carat white, 9 carat vivid yellow, high quality 8 carat white and 1.7 carat pink diamonds were recovered.

The results have confirmed that 33 carat white, 9 carat vivid yellow, high quality 8 carat white and 1.7 carat pink diamonds were recovered.

The firm has also appointed Dowding Reynard and Associates to complete the definitive feasibility study and commence detailed engineering studies for the planned 4.2Mtpa plant 2 at the mine.

DRA will also conduct a review of the current plant 1 design to increase its throughput and efficiency.
