NRW Secures Contracts from FMG

Australia-based Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has awarded two contracts worth $190m to NRW Holdings for its projects and port facilities in Australia. The first contract, valued at $80m, was awarded to a joint venture between NRW, Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation and Eastern Guruma,

Australia-based Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) has awarded two contracts worth $190m to NRW Holdings for its projects and port facilities in Australia.

The first contract, valued at $80m, was awarded to a joint venture between NRW, Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation and Eastern Guruma, for the expansion of Solomon Hub.

The scope of work will include drilling and blasting works and civil earthworks, which are expected to be completed in 18 months.

NRW also secured a $112m contract for the Herb Elliott Port facility in Pilbara, Australia, as part of the T155 expansion.

Under this contract NRW will supply earthworks, concrete works, piling and track works.
