Atlas Copco Wins Mining Equipment Contract from Penoles

Atlas Copco has been awarded an underground mining equipment contract worth Skr420m ($63m) from Mexican mining firm Penoles. Under the contract, Atlas Copco will deliver a total of 87 machines, including equipment for ace drilling, long hole drilling, bolting, loading and hauling.

Under the contract, Atlas Copco will deliver a total of 87 machines, including equipment for ace drilling, long hole drilling, bolting, loading and hauling.

Penoles and its subsidiary Fresnillo will use the equipment for ongoing operations at their various development projects.

The delivery of the equipment is expected to commence in the coming 12 months.

In January, Atlas Copco received a mining equipment order worth $45m from Fresnillo.
