European Goldfields Receives EIS Approval for Greek Project

European Goldfields has received environmental impact study (EIS) approval from the Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change for the development of its assets in Greece.

Hellas Gold, a subsidiary of European Goldfields, submitted the EIS for the assets, which include the Stratoni mine, the Olympias and Skouries development projects, and three drill-ready exploration targets.

The approval will aid in the continuation of ongoing operations at the Mavres Petres deposit in the Stratoni mine, and mining and processing of ore and metallurgical treatment at the Olympias project.

The project also includes the development of mining and processing at Skouries project and expansion of port facilities at Stratoni.
