MACA subsidiary Mining & Civil Australia has won a crushing services contract from WPG Resources subsidiary Southern Iron for the Peculiar Knob iron ore direct shipping ore (DSO) project in South Australia.

Under the 60-month contract, MACA will provide crushing, screening and train loading operations, and expects mobilisation in the first quarter of 2012.

The contract will generate about $127m in revenue over a period of five years and takes MACA's work in hand position to in excess of $800m.
