Rio Tinto Awards $101m Contract to NRW and NYFL

NRW Holdings, in a joint venture with the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation (NYFL), has been awarded a $101m car dumper and bulk earthworks contract for the Cape Lambert Port B project. The work under the contract includes bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and miscellaneous civil

NRW Holdings, in a joint venture with the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi Foundation (NYFL), has been awarded a $101m car dumper and bulk earthworks contract for the Cape Lambert Port B project.

The work under the contract includes bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and miscellaneous civil works together with associated earthworks for future stockpiles.

Rio Tinto's Cape Lambert Port B project comprises the construction of a new port facility near the existing Cape Lambert Port.

The project includes the construction of a new train-unloading infrastructure, stockyard, shiploader and wharf together with associated dredging operations.
