US-based Tamerlane Ventures has awarded two major contracts to develop its Pine Point lead-zinc project in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
The firm has awarded a contract to Axxent Engineering to provide engineering on the milling facility and surface infrastructure.
The firm has also selected Rescan Environmental Services as its environmental consultant.
The environmental work will include baseline environmental studies for the additional N-204 deposit in the north-east corner of the company's land package.
Technical work completed to date has confirmed that there has been minimal impact to the capital and operating cost estimates over the last two years.
