The geophysical review of the aero-magnetic data covering Radar Iron’s Johnston Range project in Western Australia has confirmed a five billion ton exploration potential.
The review, conducted by Perth’s Resource Potentials, discovered a global target exploration potential for iron mineralisation estimated at 5.83 billion tons at 20-65% iron and magnetite target exploration potential of 5.43 billion tons at 20-45% iron.
Radar Iron managing director Jonathan Lea said the results will help the company target ongoing magnetite exploration effectively.
“Coupled with recent drilling results at the Die Hardy project, Radar clearly has a number of significant magnetite targets to drill test in the coming year,” Lea said.
Radar Iron aims to identify a magnetite resource by the end of this year.
