Canadian company dynaCERT has secured an order from a global mining company for its C-Series of HydraGEN technology products for deployment in an open pit mine in Brazil.

As part of the order received through its dealer H2 Tek, dynaCERT will provide three of its HG145-6C Large Engine HydraGEN technology products to the mining company.

DynaCERT developed the multi-cell unit HG145-6C for installation on larger diesel engines used in various industries worldwide.

The mining company has initiated the first of its deliveries of HydraGEN technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of its fleet of mining trucks and equipment.

The latest move is in accordance with the corporate policy to reduce the company’s environmental footprint.

Caterpillar 793F mining trucks, which are powered by a quad-turbo 1,976kW, 85l, CAT C175-16 diesel engine, will be equipped with the HG145-6C units.

At present, dynaCERT is holding discussions with global mining producers to employ the HG145-6C technology on their equipment, machinery and mine-site generating stations.

Additionally, the company plans to display the technology at the PDAC Convention, taking place in Toronto from 3 to 6 March 2019.
