Germany’s mining industry registered a 2.0% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 15.05% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the mining industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.73% share in August 2021, recording a decrease of 1.28% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s mining industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s mining industry in August 2021.
1) Computer and Information Analysts recorded a share of 36.84% in August 2021, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 31.58% share, an increase of 50% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 21.05%, registering a 73.33% decline from July 2021.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 10.53%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five mining companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s mining industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
ThyssenKrupp posted 11 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a drop of 42.11% over the previous month, followed by Heraeus with 7 jobs and a 600% growth. Salzgitter with 1 IT job .
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.16%, down by 40% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 31.58% share, registered an increase of 200% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.26% share, flat growth over July 2021.
