Envirosuite is pleased to announce it is partnering with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) to exhibit at ExpoMineria, Latin America’s largest mining conference, being held from 25 to 28 October in Guadalajara, Mexico.
After the success of Envirosuite’s first Latin American contract at the Cerrejón mine – the largest coal mine in Colombia, the Australian technology company is looking to capitalise on similar opportunities in the Latin American market.
Envirosuite technology will be exhibited at ExpoMineria by partners BlacktoGreen who service the Latin American Mining market from an office in Mexico City.
BlacktoGreen’s Managing Partner – Mexico, José M González Olivera commented on ExpoMineria.
“After discussing Envirosuite with many mines across Latin America, we know it is an ideal fit for this market. Mining operations in Latin America have an increasing need for environmental intelligence to boost their operational efficiencies, plan blasts ahead of time and limit the risk of impact on surrounding communities. We expect significant interest in Envirosuite’s capabilities in blasting and predictive modelling of dust and environmental risk.”
Envirosuite VP and General Manager Americas, Matt Scholl also commented on the opportunities in Latin America.
“We’re incredibly excited to be working together with such a great organisation in Austrade, who are helping us to make an impact in the Latin American mining market. We’re confident of achieving some great outcomes from this event due to the groundwork our partners BlacktoGreen have provided by spreading the word about Envirosuite. Envirosuite truly helps mines enhance their operational efficiencies by providing them with environmental intelligence specific to their needs. After our success in Colombia, we know it will be received well in the rest of Latin America.”
