On 14 May 2018, Carlson Software acquired the assets of Renishaw’s Service and Repair Facilities in Ottawa (Canada) and Melbourne (Australia) for supporting the mining (Quarryman®, Boretrak®, C-ALS®, Void Scanner), mapping (Merlin), and laser module (ILM) product lines previously owned by Renishaw.
This acquisition enhances Carlson’s existing offerings for the benefit of its customers, including former Renishaw customers.
Carlson Software currently maintains a production, design and service facility in York, UK, and will also begin production of the Quarryman and the Boretrak at their flagship office in Maysville, Kentucky. We will endeavour to match the exemplary customer service for which Renishaw is known. We will apply our software expertise to both the user interface and post-processing of laser data and Boretrak data going forward.
We appreciate your support and understanding during this period of change. Carlson looks forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with its new service customers.
