EXAIR has expanded its Long Super Air Knives range to include a maximum length of 108in (2,743mm) and is now manufacturing all knives of 60in (1524mm) and longer in one-piece construction. New one-piece construction ensures seamless airflow and eliminates coupling multiple short-length air knives together.
One-piece construction decreases overall height by 0.5in, making it better for tight spaces. Super Air Knives produce a laminar sheet of airflow to blow off, dry or cool wide surfaces up to 108in (2,743mm) wide. The energy efficient design minimises compressed air use by entraining 40 parts room air to one part compressed air. It is ideal for use on wide parts, webs and conveyors.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, Long Super Air Knives provide a uniform, high-volume, high-velocity curtain of air that is infinitely adjustable from a gentle blowing force to a hard-hitting blast of air. The compact profile measures 45mm by 37mm, with compressed air inlets located on each end and the bottom to permit easy mounting in tight spaces. The Long Super Air Knife is quiet, maintenance-free, has no moving parts to wear-out, and is also CE compliant.
Long Super Air Knives are available in 60in (1,524mm), 72in (1,829mm), 84in (2,134mm), 96in (2,438mm) and 108in (2,743mm) lengths. They ship from stock in your choice of aluminium, Type 303 or Type 316 stainless steel. A factory installed plumbing kit is also available that makes it easy to connect Long Super Air Knives to any plant compressed air system and obtain the best performance.
