EXAIR’s digital electronic temperature control (ETC) is now available for Dual Cabinet Cooler® Systems installed on large or high-heat load enclosures. An ETC Dual Cabinet Cooler system will keep electrical enclosures cool while minimising compressed air use.
Systems produce -7°C (20°F) air to eliminate high-temperature malfunctions and protect sensitive electronics from harsh environments. They are available in cooling capacities up to 5,600Btu/hr.
Available from Compressed Air Australia, the ETC accurately maintains a constant temperature in the electrical enclosure that is slightly under the maximum rating of the electronics. It permits just enough cooling for the electronics without going so cold as to waste compressed air.
A digital LED readout displays the temperature of the electrical enclosure (°C or °F), then displays the user temperature setting when pressing the ‘push to set’ button. When that setting is exceeded, the Cabinet Cooler System is activated.
ETC is suitable for NEMA 4, 4X and 12 environments and works with the UL listed Dual Cabinet Cooler Systems, which are available with cooling capacities of 4,000Btu/hr, 4,800Btu/hr and 5,600Btu/hr. Cabinet Cooler Systems include an automatic drain filter separator to keep moisture in the compressed air out of the enclosure.
ETC is offered for 120VAC or 240VAC, and lower cooling capacity Cabinet Cooler Systems are available. All products are CE compliant. For further details, please visit the company website.
