Electrostatic precipitators
Fowlerex’s dry electrostatic precipitator range is proven on applications such as alumina kilns, cement kilns, lime kilns, glass furnaces, nickel kilns and dryers. Fowlerex combine rugged construction with ease of maintenance features and state of the art control systems.
Fowlerex Technologies
Fowlerex’s wet electrostatic precipitator design is a traditional counter flow wet wall type, proven in service over a long period of time. Typical applications have included coke ovens, fibreglass manufacture, wood fibre dryers and cloth dryers.
Fowlerex uses Castlet controllers and T-R sets, and represents Castlet in Australia.
Wet scrubbers
Fowlerex has several wet scrubber models so is able to offer a suitable unit for nearly any particulate and/or fume collection application. Our model range includes venturi type for high efficiency particulate collection. It also includes packed tower type for chemical fumes, acid gases and the like. Chemical scrubbers can be supplied for odour removal.
Baghouse filters
Fowlerex has a full range of baghouse filters from the very small to the very large. These can be reverse pulse or reverse air, on-line or off-line cleaning. The filters may be tubular bags, flat bags, star bags, cartridges or pleated elements. Fowlerex also has experience with high temperature applications using metal filter elements or ceramic filter elements.
The workhorse of the baghouse world is the tubular reverse pulse baghouse. Always reliable, rugged and low maintenance.
Cyclones and multi-cyclones
Fowlerex’s multiclone is an Australian Industry standard proven in numerous applications such as boiler emission control, cement plants, lime kilns, asphalt plants, milling and grinding operations. They are low cost, low maintenance units suitable for operating temperatures up to 400°C.
Fowlerex also has a range of single cyclones that can be supplied in special abrasion resistant materials. These are most often used as pre-collectors or as spark arrestors.
