Silver Lake Resources has announced new updates on its drilling activities at the Eelya Complex, part of the Murchison project off the coast of Perth, Australia.
Since drilling recommenced in March at the Hollandaire deposit, two months after assay results from a nine drill hole programme confirmed it as a high-grade copper deposit that also contains gold and silver, 19 RC drill holes have been completed in the supergene chalcocite zone and seven diamond holes have been completed in the primary zone.
All RC and diamond drill holes have intersected mineralisation at the targeted position and assay results are due within four to six weeks.
Meanwhile, at the Mount Eelya prospect, an eight-hole diamond drilling programme is set begin and will target a 100m long electromagnetic conductor at an approximate depth of 130m.
This will follow a 10-hole diamond drilling programme targeting an 80m long electromagnetic conductor at an approximate depth of 75m at the Colonel prospect. This part of the project will be completed in May.
