Largo Resources’ subsidiary Vanadio de Maracas has received a final installation licence to begin construction at the Maracas project in Brazil.

The firm was granted the licence from the Environmental and Water Resources Agency of the State of Bahia.

The licence will permit deposition of tailings ponds, waste dumps, access to necessary land, construction of a water pipeline and other key infrastructure requirements for the operation.

The removal of all and any vegetation to accommodate all the proposed facilities within the licensed area has also been approved.
