Saudi Arabian firm Al Masane Al Kobra Mining (AMAK) is expected to commence operations at its new mine next month, following completion of the construction phase.
The surface facility operator China National Geological & Mining Corporation will be responsible for the mine operation.
Currently, underground development work is being carried out while trucking and logistics operations are nearing completion.
Arabian American Development holds a 37% stake in AMAK.
