Oz Company Awarded Services Deals by Jincheng Anthracite
Chinese miner Jincheng Anthracite has awarded Australian engineering and safety company Industrea two services contracts totalling $5m.
Under the first contract, worth $2.4m, Industrea subsidiary Advanced Mining Technologies (AMT) will provide Jincheng with directional drilling and a methane gas drainage system to be used in its Sihe coal mine in Shanxi Province, northern China.
Under the second contract, another Industrea subsidiary - Industrea Mining Equipment (IME) - will provide 50t long wall roof support carriers for the mining group’s Zhaozhuang coal mine in Shanxi.
The directional drilling system and roof support carriers will be built by AMT and IME separately at their manufacturing centres in New South Wales.
