Resource company Weatherly International has teamed up with Anglo-American subsidiary Ambase Prospecting to explore a tenement in northwest Namibia.
Ambase will work on Weatherly's EPL 2906 tenement, located in the Grootfontein District of the Otjosondjupa region.
Under the terms of the agreement, Anglo will conduct exploration activities in the area, spending at least US$2.0m over three years, with further funds dependent on exploration results.
Weatherly currently operates four copper mines and a smelter in Namibia and is currently undertaking a full feasibility study on the Tambao Manganese project in Burkina Faso.
