A miner was killed in a locomotive accident at gold and uranium producer Simmer and Jack Mine’s Buffelsfontein mine in South Africa on Sunday, the company has announced.
The accident took place at the sites' number two shaft, near Klerksdorp in the North West Province.
All tramming has been stopped pending an investigation into the accident, the company says.
