Skills and Climate Top Election Agenda

15 October 2007

Skills shortages and climate change are expected to be key issues in coal mining regions for next month's federal election, according to a Central Queensland University academic.

Miles believes there needs to be more substantial investment in green coal technologies to counter the risks associated with climate change.
