BHP Minerals Reserves Rise

BHP Billiton has announced that uranium, copper and gold reserves at its Olympic Dam mine in South Australia have risen to 7.7 billion tonnes, 75% more than estimated.

Gold estimates at the mine were only up by 11% on previous forecasts. The group also said ore grades at the mine have decreased.
