China's President to Visit WA

Chinese President Hu Jintao is visiting Western Australia this week to meet with mining and government representatives in a move expected to strengthen existing economic relations.

Two-way trade between WA and China was worth more than A$15.3bn a year and exports from WA to China were worth over A$13.8bn, according to the WA Government.

The president is also expected to tour resource-based sites.
