Goldcorp Expands Capacity of Red Lake Mine

Abstract

Current practice at the Red Lake Mine was bulk application of ferric sulphate direct to the tailing ponds in order to minimize arsenic concentrations. With increased mine production due to site expansion, a new treatment plant to treat arsenic was required.

Mine owners Goldcorp chose John Meunier to provide the solution.
