MCA Economic Activity Brief for the Period Ending March 2008

The council presents data on exploration, production, exports, productivity, and employment and workplace agreement-making in the Australian mining sector.
The paper includes tables for macroeconomic indicators in Australia, mine production, quarterly mineral exports and a chart for the principal markets for Australian mineral exports. Mineral price comparisons and productivity estimates of the Australian mining sector are also presented.
