Pacific Hoists is a privately-owned Australian business, founded in 1976 by Dennis Herbert to market the Hitachi range of electric hoists in Australia. Today, the company enjoys a market-leading position in the Australian and New Zealand lifting and materials-handling equipment industries.

HOISTING EQUIPMENT

Pacific Hoist’s hoisting equipment includes electric chain hoists, chain and lever blocks, air hoists, rope hoists, mining hoists, hydraulic and monorail hoists, big bag handling hoists, trolleys, girder clamps and pipe trolleys. The company also supplies magnetic lifters, ‘MY-T-Lift’, electrical feed systems and lifting clamps.

WINCHES

The Pacific Hoist range of winches includes brake hand winches, air winches, electric winches, hydraulic winches, DC winches, the capstan winch, the ALBA pull-lift winch, and strap and wire winches.

MATERIALS-HANDLING EQUIPMENT

Materials-handling equipment includes the Porta Lift, electric lifter, scissor lift trolleys, platform trolleys, pallet trucks, drum jacks, load rollers and skates, spring balancers and Safepour liquid handling.

All Pacific lifting equipment is designed and manufactured to conform to Australian and international standards (where available) and is approved by all relevant authorities (where applicable). A comprehensive range of literature is readily available upon request.

Pacific Hoists is based in Seven Hills, NSW, with warehouses and offices in Western Australia as well as New Zealand. Pacific Hoists also has a dedicated national team of sales and management personnel operating out of Queensland and Victoria.

Pacific Hoists has a commanding market share with Hitachi, Vital, JD Neuhaus, Inter Product, Metreel, Safepour, Lift Mates, Pacific, and a variety of other brands' products being sold by a supportive network of distributors throughout Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.

The company’s achievements are based on the commitment to supply quality equipment at a competitive price whilst striving to maintain and improve levels of service and customer satisfaction. Quality endorsement to ISO9001 was attained in 1993 and now includes a NATA endorsed testing facility.
