Opened last autumn in the peak of a worldwide economic crisis, the second production hall of Lebus International Engineers is now in full operation.

The new establishment enables Lebus to enlarge its capacity by one third, which is urgently needed as the increased demand from Asia, mainly from China, has given a record-business to the cable drum and rope spooling-system-specialist located in Finning, Upper Bavaria, Germany.

Managing director, Cris Seidenather, says: “I am very satisfied we were able to finish our €1.3m investment in time. It is strengthening our competivity and is saving delivery time to our clients.”

On 900m² additional production space, equipped with a 10t capacity overhead crane, the new hall is designed for assembling spooling devices and compensators and for mounting and bolting flanges to drums.
