Tyre monitoring

This operator-oriented service has the objective of providing the operator with a comprehensive monitoring tool and linking the operator with the tyre management agent on a quasi-continuous basis. While the tyre management agent will physically provide inspection of the operator's fleet of tyres once every two to four weeks, the database developed by the agent will provide real-time information with regards to advisable actions in order to maintain high reliability and efficiency of the operator's fleet tyres.

Tyre monitoring consists of the following:

  • Daily maintenance (servicing, inspection and troubleshooting)
  • Periodic in-depth inspections
  • Periodic fleet evaluation
  • Records of performance for each tyre as well as for the fleet as a whole
  • Reliability reviews
  • Operation audits
  • Recommendations regarding maintenance, repair, matching, etc.

OTR tyre training

While daily maintenance requirements are obviously borne by the operator, Tyreline is prepared to provide qualified advice and training whenever required. The aim of our training is to increase the level of understanding of the construction of the tyre, the way of operation, limitations of operation (load, inflation pressure, temperature, acceptable damages and implied risk) and safety measures.

Fleet evaluation and inspection reports

Fleet evaluation is provided by Tyreline on a regular basis to identify nonconformities like damage on the surface of not-yet-failed tyres, mismatching, under-inflation, etc. at a stage when corrective action is possible and highly advisable in order to reduce risk and operational costs.

Since prevention is better than cure, Tyreline is of the opinion that corrective action should be taken at the earliest stage possible. Following fleet evaluation, Tyreline will present the operator with a preliminary inspection report that formally informs the operator about the nonconformities found and possible corrective action.

The actual repair, whether carried out at Tyreline workshops or on site, is designed to follow the procedures, limitations and recommendations of REMA TIP TOP, Germany, an ISO 9001 TUV certified company and one of the best OTR tyre repair authorities in the world.
