Saccon Gomme - OTR Tyres

Saccon Gomme was founded in the 1950s by Fausto Saccon and specialises in large OTR tyres. Saccon Gomme has a stock of OTR tyres worth over €5m. The variety includes new, repaired and second-hand tyres. Saccon distributes many brands of OTR tyres, including Michelin, Bridgestone, Ecomega, Bullblack, Goodyear, Simex, Yokohama, Pirelli, Continental, Trelleborg, and many others.

ECOMEGA OTR TYRES

A brand is private when it is conceived, commercialised and distributed by a company, but manufactured by another. At the moment Ecomega brand is manufactured by eight leading tyre manufacturers. Manufacturers choose to manufacture private brands as well as well as their own because this helps them to increase volumes and reduce production costs. Companies that already have their own brand can maximise output by using the same production line and components to manufacture tyres for other brands.

Customers trust private OTR tyres such as Ecomega for a number of reasons, such as their high standards of quality and the use of a high percentage of natural rubber. Other advantages are the fact that there are no chemical products included, the use of original equipment, the fact that they are distributed in areas where they are the sole distributors, and the guarantee and safety confirmed by buyers within the mining industry.

Thanks to this, the company can fulfil any request and answer with the most suitable product for each specific OTR tyre requirement.

The structure and quality of its OTR tyres allows Saccon Gomme to be partner for the most important original equipment in Italy and in Europe, supplying them not only with the tyres needed, but also with the tyre on the rim, just in time. The company, which is located near the port of Venice, is easy to reach for containers arriving from and leaving for Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and the US.

ISO-CERTIFIED OTR MANUFACTURE

Saccon Gomme, ISO 9001:2000 certified by RINA has for years been investing in the safety of its technicians, and the continuous renewal of machinery and production processes.

At the moment, they are preparing the ISO 18.001 certification for the service of assistance of all the staff involved in both in-shop and on-the-field assistance. In this too, Saccon Gomme is a leader as far as tyres and assistance are concerned.

Mr Saccon began his business in a small shop repairing tyres for bicycles, cars and lorries. In 1972, together with his son Ennio, the second workshop opened in Portogruaro (VE). This shop, later enlarged, will soon become the main warehouse supplying all the other shops. In 1989 the new Pordenone branch opened and in 2000 Saccon Gomme Spa bought Nord Pneumatici, a historical Milan company operating throughout the Lombardy region.

In 2007, with a staff of over 60 experts and to €25m in sales, Saccon Gomme and its subsidiaries become an important point of reference in the Italian and European Industrial and OTR markets.
