OTR Wheel Engineering, a rapidly growing company established in 1987, manufactures and distributes wheels, tires, and mounted tire and wheel assemblies for 'off the road' equipment.

OTR Wheel Engineering also provides specially designed tires to the aerial lift and construction industries, and hubs, spindles and counterweights.

SEAMLESS ROLLED-RING WHEELS AND RIMS

Our HT 2002 series of seamless rolled-ring wheels and rims can be used for all rim sections and flanges. Made to pressure-vessel standards and machined to precision tolerances, they offer improved product life, reduced weight and increased safety.

Our heat treat and quenching process optimizes the steel grain structure. The sections are 100% finish-machined, quality inspected, and shipped for final assembly into the strongest, most durable and fatigue-resistant wheels and rims currently available.

By removing as much unnecessary weight from the rim as possible, we have improved its strength in relation to fatigue life.

Superior steel chemistry results in improved metallurgical qualities combined with optimized seamless rolled-ring wheel and rim design-profiles. Adding qualities to our steel to vastly improve the strength and durability properties enables our products to perform superbly.

Our seamless rolled-ring wheels and rims therefore maintain a lower rim-weight and greater product-strength than other components, providing a lower unladen vehicle weight and reduced downtime. This reduces your cost per ton to move material.

HT2000 UNDERGROUND MINING WHEEL

Advantages of the HT2000 underground mining wheel include:

• Forged alloy, integrated gutter and bolt flange – 90,000 yield

RECONDITIONED SCRAPER WHEELS

We recondition damaged scraper wheels with a new rim base with a reinforced extra heavy-duty back section. We recondition the bearing surface to original specifications.

Stud holes, air holes and oil-fill holes are redrilled exactly according to original specifications, and we use sub-arc welding for maximum strength. Leak testing ensures quality before tire fitment.

Scrapers reconditioned include Cat 621s, 623s, 627s, 631s, 637s, 641s, 651s and 657s, in all models. We also provide a full three-year warranty covering materials and workmanship.

SERVICE COMPONENTS FOR WHEELS

OTR supplies service components for wheels used on a variety of three and five-piece construction and earthmoving wheels and rims. We provide wheel reconditioning, repair and repainting, and a number of undercoat treatments and painting options.

WEARMASTER AND OUTRIGGER TIRE LINES

OTR's new Wearmaster and Outrigger tire lines feature improved compounding, longer wear, greater side-wall protection, greater stability and heavily reinforced tire beads, providing longer service-life and lower operating-costs.

Innovative OTR tires for specific machine applications include grass master, traction master, track master and non-marking tires.

TYRLYNER™ PUNCTURE SEALER

The patented Tyrlyner puncture sealer considerably reduces downtime caused by punctures from nails and screws.

TIRE-MOUNTING FACILITIES

Our production facilities are specifically designed for high-volume tire-mounting for OEM customers. We can provide wheels mounted with your tire of choice, special undercoat treatments and top coats in your specific paint color. Our palletized, shrink-wrapped mounted assemblies are delivered to a 'just-in-time' schedule.

Our facilities can also provide small tire-mounting production runs, several foam-fill options and liquid ballast.
