RETREADING

OTR have developed the skills for retreading earthmover tyres and have retread manufacturing facilities housing the latest tyre technology producing world class retreads. With the ability to retread all tyre sizes from 24in to 57in rim diameter, OTR offer a range of retreads to suit every earthmover market sector:

• A new generation of quality Remould tyres with the appearance and integrity of new tyres
• The NewTread tyres specifically manufactured for the harshest mining and quarrying environments
• A comprehensive range of traditional 'Smooth and Groove' tread patterns and sizes
• Plus puncture-free OTR 'Cushion' and Polyurethane 'FIL' tyres

Production of all OTR Remoulds and ReTreads utilises only quality used casings, which are subject to intensive pre-production testing on OTR's unique ultrasonic tyre scanning equipment.

State-of-the-art equipment allows the use of synthetic materials to ensure that each tyre produced is manufactured to customer specification for bespoke use.

In the UK, strategically positioned depots have enabled OTR to offer an integrated tyre service and operational network supported by TotalTyreLogic - the company's 'cradle to grave' tyre management system. Developed with customers for customers, TotalTyreLogic provides much more than just tyre data and encompasses site surveys, detailed recommendations on operational practices, tyre suitability and use, plus the continual monitoring of tyre wear and tear through a structured programme of onsite inspections.

The unique, secure, Internet-based software gives customers a constantly updated account of individual tyre performances, which they can access online at any time. The result is informed decisions on present and future tyre usage, which in turn means effective cost-control and budgeting.
