DACAPO produces specialized precure off-road compounds, which are specifically designed to handle the toughest terrain. The brand is supported by Leader Tread (SA) Ltd, which means that it is backed by specific retreading knowledge and expertise, as well as material development and support systems.

The standard available tyre sizes range from 17.5R25 up to 2700R49, with new sizes being added continuously. We pride ourselves in being service driven and will manufacture tread designs and widths to the customer’s specification on request.

DACAPO OTR EQUIPMENT

DACAPO supplies equipment from visual inspection machines to x-ray inspection machines. The buffing machines are multifunctional and can be used for peeling, buffing and building .These buffers can be template controlled or computer controlled. The precure OTR builders utilize bead plates, variable speed drives, tyre lift for ease of loading and unloading and a laser centerline for centering the tread.

We are able to supply computer or manual controlled strip winders for the mould cure or the cap and groove autoclave cure retread system along with either the fully computerised or manual controlled grooving machines, as well as work stations, envelopers open steam, dry steam or electrically heated autoclaves.

UNICURE REPAIR ONLY OTR REPAIR STATION

The unicure system uses air bags, heat pads and a harness giving the operator the flexibility to repair any tyre size.

DACAPO OTR PRECURE RETREAD MATERIALS

DACAPO manufactures a variety of pattern designs and widths of precure retread segments for different tyre sizes and application along with all the necessary cushion gum, repair rope, precure, sectional cure or heat cure repair patches.

Dacapo manufactures all the necessary long skirt curing envelopes to be used with bead sealing rings and short skirt envelopes and inners to be used in the inner/outer curing system.

DACAPO manufactures specialized compounds in uncured strip form for mould cure and autoclave cure. These compounds are developed for specific applications.
