Hiflex Australia Group - OTR Tyre Supplier

The Hiflex Australia Group (THAG) is an excellent OTR tyre supplier who has developed excellent business with some of Australia’s major mining and construction firms. Recognising that most of the major miners have existing contracts or relationships with the major radial manufacturers, THAG has made a concerted effort to provide high-quality bias ply tyres for rear-position fitment to allow clients to run their radial allocation on the steer positions. THAG have also supplied bias ply tyres for front fitment in certain controlled circumstances with remarkable success.

OTR TYRE MANUFACTURER

THAG has developed high-level contacts and relationships with local and regional clients due to a culture of high-levels of service and excellent delivery capabilities.

With the advent of our own manufacturing facility and stock locations within fully staffed branches in Sydney, Hunter Valley, Perth and Adelaide, THAG has been able to allow clients to develop credit accounts and to draw tyres manufactured by THAG, from stock. This has been a new development in the current "opportunistic" market which has been based around deposit purchases.

IMPORTED OTR TYRE BRANDS

Ever on the lookout for profitable opportunities, THAG has acquired or developed strategic relationships with a select group of supplier/distributors in both Europe and the US, thus enabling the company to access imported tyre brands and also develop, test and prove our tyres on a worldwide basis.

We have our own 2700-49 tyres running in Australia, America and South Africa and we are performing as-well-as or better than the recognised brands. We can supply information and technical data as well as references for these sites upon request.

IN-HOUSE TYRE ENGINEER

THAG has recently acquired the services of an in-house tyre engineer with many years of service with such firms as Otraco, Rio Tinto, and one of the major radial producers. Our engineer is capable of advising clients on all aspects of their OTR tyre requirements and usage from haul road design advice to tyre specification for a particular requirement.

TYRE REPAIR AND TYRE MANAGEMENT

We can supply independent engineering reports and investigations in relation to tyre failure and we offer full tyre repair and tyre management services, at World's Best Practise, level. We have a bank of used tyres with a massive range of hours and use types that we can supply to assist you with maximising the use of your current tyre stocks.

OTR TYRE INDUSTRY

Over the preceding years, THAG have sold tyres to Komatsu, GBF Underground Mining, Rio Tinto, Westrac, Capital Access, MacMahon Contracting, BGC Contracting, Goldfields, Pilbara Iron, Carpentaria Gold, Lion Ore, Mt Gibson Iron, Thiess Contracting, Whitehaven Coal and Xstrata Coal in Australia. We have been a fixture in the Australian tyre industry for three years in our current guise. Our management and staff have over 35 cumulative years in the OTR tyre industry.
