MINING TIRES FOR RIGID DUMP TRUCKS

Duratread OTR mining tires are currently available in eight sizes for rigid dump trucks ranging from 37.25-35 to 40.00-57. Our mining tire technicians can recommend usage based on the specific application and provide details of recommended payloads and vehicle speed.

MINING TIRES FOR WHEELED LOADERS

For Wheeled Loaders, Duratread OTR mining tires are currently available in three sizes 35/65-33, 45/65-45 and 52/80-57. We also offer a smooth tire L5S. For special requests, we can provide additional ply rating or steel reinforcement to tires for Wheeled Loaders.

QUALITY CONTROL

We sell primarily to end users and therefore have direct contact with our Clients and the fleet of vehicles running on Duratread tires. This means that we can evaluate the performance of our products via a continuous loop of information from the field back to the plants. Where necessary or appropriate, we use the information in the factory to implement manufacturing improvements and service recommendations. Importantly, our manufacturer trained key personnel have the experience to interpret in field performance and use that to make proposals that can be implemented in future production.

AVAILABILITY

Since production control is in our hands, if production is planned and scheduled, tires are normally available within 15 days of a confirmed order.

Production is planned according to the demands of the clients on a “made to order” system. Requirements are integrated into the planning cycle on a sequential basis to ensure that deliveries are scheduled according to the priorities of clients. This allows us to request and rapidly integrate into production specific requirements of compounding or construction without delaying shipment – therefore ensuring that your fleet keeps on the move 24/7.

LOGISTICS

The correct handling of large OTR tires requires special knowledge and equipment to ensure that products arrive with customers in good condition and in the agreed timeframe, especially when this involves the use of open top containers. Once you have placed an order with us, you will be kept fully informed of when the order is confirmed; when tires are confirmed in production; when tires are dispatched from the factory, inspection at the port of departure and finally shipping details.
