Chatoyer Water's approach to water solutions is unique, as it specialises in packaged industrial and commercial water and wastewater treatment systems. Our team of professionals design, manufacture, install and commission customised packaged solutions in some of the world's most rugged and remote locations.
The Chatoyer Water turbo bio-reactor (TBR) is a super-compact water-treatment system to treat high flow rates. Relocatable, fully automatic and requiring minimal civil work, it is ideal for clients in remote locations and/or with limited space.
In conventional systems, bacteria are suspended in the water mass and with adequate retention time will multiply sufficiently to break down the organics. The Chatoyer Water TBR incorporates an additional bio-media within the bio-reactor tank, which allows for a greater population of bacteria attached to bio media to be produced within the same-sized tank, thereby substantially reducing the retention time for the same volume of water to be treated.
Unlike conventional systems, TBR systems can withstand shock loading and has just 30% of the footprint of conventional STPs.
The Advanced TBR also provides for nutrient reduction within the same unit, providing substantial reduction in nitrogen and phosphorous discharges from the system. It provides effective wastewater treatment by removing COD, solids and nutrients within one unit.
Since the beginning of the 20th century, active sludge processes have been used as biological treatment for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment and reuse processes. Recently, the MBR has emerged as an economical alternative for reliable and compact wastewater treatment.
The MBR combines two processes (biological degredation and membrane separation) into a single process where suspended solids and micro-organisms responsible for biodegrading are separated from the treated water by a membrane filtration unit.
Flow ranges from 100m³/day to 1,000m³/day for disposal and recycling. Common applications include:
RO systems are the most commonly used equipment for the treatment of saline water. Chatoyer Water's customised RO systems have been proven in many applications to be economic, effective and reliable, with simplicity of operation a key feature.
Chatoyer Water's pre-assembled and pre-tested RO systems are manufactured with high-quality components, and provide on-going, trouble-free performance. They are designed to treat bore water, surface water, river water and seawater.
Pre-treatment and post-treatment are critical considerations in the overall design of an RO system. These critical elements ensure long-lasting and reliable customised RO systems for saline water.
Our UF membrane systems are designed and manufactured to remove suspended particulates, colloidal material, bacteria and high molecular weight material greater than 0.01µm.
Our standard UF membrane system modules include:
Chatoyer water-treatment technologies are ideal for a range of mining applications, including providing potable water and sewerage for mining camps; washdown bay runoff; and irrigation. We offer turnkey services.
The packaged systems provide Class A+, A and B water, and can be both skid-mounted and containerised.
