P&H Mine Air Systems a specialist manufacturer of climate control units for use on operator cabs on a wide variety of mining equipment is proud to announce their attendance at CIM Montreal from May 22 to 25.
At the show we will be displaying a system that was developed as a Rear Window Mounted A/C System for haul trucks. This system incorporates an air conditioning unit that replaces the rear window in a haul truck. We have several mounting variations which allow the system to be mounted on Cat 785, 789 and 793 trucks and Komatsu 830E and 930E trucks. The system incorporates a 24VDC compressor which eliminates the belt-driven, engine-mounted compressors found on conventional haul truck air conditioning systems.
The system eliminates all refrigerant lines running down into the engine compartment and all associated issues with leaking compressor seals, belt and pulley maintenance and guarding, etc. The Rear Window A/C System is extremely modular and incorporates a 'plug and play' philosophy allowing the unit to be quickly swapped out for a spare in the event of a failure.
