P&H Mine Air Systems manufactures climate-control units (for air conditioning and heating) for use on operator cabs on a wide variety of mining equipment, including electric shovels, drills, draglines, haul trucks, graders, excavators, dozers, loaders and more.
Our climate-control units are designed specifically for the mining industry, and engineered and manufactured to operate reliably in the extreme conditions found in a mining environment.
P&H Mine Air Systems offers several climate-control units suitable for installation on electric shovels, drills and draglines. The units run on either 380V / 50Hz or 480V / 60Hz power and provide both air conditioning and heating. Installation kits for both roof-mount and side-mount applications are available. Models include the MAS 1500, MAS 1300 and MAS 1000.
P&H Mine Air Systems offers several climate-control units suitable for installation on mobile diesel mining equipment including haul trucks, graders, dozers, loaders and more. The units feature a 24VDC compressor that eliminates the engine-mounted, belt-driven compressor found on conventional air-conditioning systems.
The MAS 361 model is a fully self-contained climate-control unit offering plug-and-play modularity. Ten bolts and two plugs are the only connections required to install this unit. If necessary a spare unit can be installed in 30min or less.
The MAS 361 has no external refrigerant lines: all the refrigerant is contained within the unit. That means no skilled trades are required to change this unit out. Just undo ten bolts and unplug two cables (power and control). Downtime associated with air conditioning is capped at 30min (leaving time to swap for a spare).
The MAS 361 provides both air conditioning and heating.
This unit features a 24VDC compressor and a condenser. The RCC eliminates the engine-mounted compressor and radiator-mounted condenser found on conventional air conditioning systems. Replacing an engine-mounted compressor with an RCC unit will eliminate 75% to 80% of the maintenance tasks associated with air conditioning.
The RCC can be plumbed into an existing OEM air conditioner evaporator, allowing the operator to continue to use the dash-mounted controls and vents while eliminating the engine-mounted compressor and associated components.
