Duraduct offers a wide variety of tubes and pipes for mining applications. Formed in 1970 and acquired by the STM Group in 2001, the company's products complement STM's stainless tube mill portfolio by extending the range of diameters offered.

Mine tubing bends, tees and reducers

Duraduct manufactures a range of bends, tees and reducers in welded and lockseam to match both tubular systems and customer specials such as spool pieces. Stiffening rings are also fabricated in our engineering workshops.

Spiral-weld mine tubing and pipes

The Duraduct method of tube and pipe production is spiral weld and roll form (lockseam) in both stainless and mild steel.

The spiral weld tube and pipe is produced for high-pressure and structural applications in a diameter range up to 1,626mm. The lockseam tube is produced for low-pressure ducting and structural applications in a diameter range up to 2,438m.

Lockseam ventilation tubing for mines, tunnels and shafts

Duraduct lockseam tube is used for the ventilation (supply or exhaust) of mines, tunnels and shafts, both on a temporary basis during construction and as a permanent installation.

Composite piping for abrasive and corrosive fluid transportation

The PolySteeltrade; is a composite pipe consisting of an outer spiral steel casing and an inner poly (HDPE) lining. This piping product has been designed for the transportation of abrasive and corrosive fluids under pressure.

Fittings for gas and fluid-transmission tube and pipes

We offer stainless and mild-steel fabricated fittings for gas and fluid-transmission tube and pipes, as well as structural applications. These products are used in the mining/industrial waste, power generation, water and waste treatment, and building and construction industries.

Duraduct provides a lockseam tube for use in concrete column forms and other building construction applications.

Lockseam tubing for ventilation, electrical conduction and cable channels

Duraduct lockseam tube is used for ventilation ducts, electrical conduit and cable channels in concrete floor and slab constructions.

Lockseam spiral duct system

Duraduct's lockseam insulated ducting system has an outer steel casing, internal fire resistant fibreglass insulation and an acoustic perforated or plain metal-core liner.

Self-sealing ductwork-installation jointing system

The patented Dura-Seal mechanically fixed and leak-proof rubber self-sealing jointing system is used for the easy installation of ductwork.

Corrugated piping for irrigation

Duraduct lockseam corrugated pipe is for use in the construction of culvert, storm water, sub-soil drainage and other irrigation applications.

Pressure piping for corrosive fluid transmission in mines

Internal poly (HDPE)-lined spiral mild-steel pipe is used as a pressure pipe for the transmission of corrosive and abrasive fluids. These products are used in the mining mineral processing, industrial and utilities markets.

Typical applications include for mining and power-generation slurry pipelines, minerals and waste in fluid-suspension pipelines, and chemical and corrosive product-transmission pipelines.

Spiral-formed ducting tube and fittings

Our carbon-steel spiral-formed ducting tube and fittings can be used for transmission (low pressure), structural, gas ducting, and structural hollow and chute applications. These products are used in the building and construction, mining, agriculture, industrial, and utilities markets.

Duraduct can also provide on-site installation of tubular systems for its customers.
