Chasm Consulting has recently released Ventsim Visual, which marks a new generation of ventilation design software. It has fully integrated smooth 3D graphics, colour and animation, combined with an easy-to-use mouse-driven interface.

Ventsim Visual has a toolbox full of new features, including thermo-dynamic simulation, refrigeration, compressible airflows and diesel-particulate estimation, along with a host of other useful features. The software also includes tools for managing and reducing ventilation costs, and is provided with a comprehensive 190-page electronic manual.

The visual aspect of the new software is guaranteed to change the way that mines view, design and analyse ventilation circuits, with colour management and animation now integral parts of the software interface. Ventsim Visual software is available under a license purchase or limited time-rental agreement.
