Barrod Pty Ltd was formed in 1995, and trades under the names of Air Systems Australia and Sylvan Wire. Under Air Systems Australia, Barrod offers complete dust collection systems for a range of industries. Through Sylvan Wire, Barrod provides custom wire products, including dust collector cages and welded meshes.

DUST COLLECTORS

Effective dust collection is increasingly important in mine operations. Failure to prevent the spread of dust increases the environmental impact of the mine and can create serious health problems for workers.

The Air Systems range of dust collectors is designed and manufactured in Australia to Australian and international standards. Individual design and filter cloth selection allow collection efficiency to be in excess of 99%. They can be utilised around the mine site, such as at crushers, conveyors, screen decks and silo vents.

A venturi placed in the tubular filter support cage provides high efficiency and low compressed air usage. The dust collectors' modular construction allows sizing to suit all projects. Hoppers, stands, access ladders and platforms are manufactured to individual client requirements.

With our improved snap lock cuff design special tools are no longer required to install filter shelves.
