Mechtric - Audible and Visual Signalling Devices

For over 30 years Mechtric have been supplying signalling products to mining projects, oil and gas installations and processing plants. From small panel mounting indicators to plant wide evacuation sirens Mechtric can offer a complete range of audible and visual signalling devices, including a range of vehicle beacons designed for the mining and quarrying industries.

To complement our range of sounders, sirens and beacons, Mechtric can also provide a complete control system including activation by wireless transceiver units, GSM network, and battery back up systems.

PORTABLE AND HAND OPERATED SIGNALS

In many cases it is useful to have signalling devices that are portable and do not require any mains power supply. Mechtric can offer a complete range of battery powered warning lights, and battery, air or hand operated sirens and horns.

For visual signalling we can offer products such as our TL2000 LED battery operated lights, solar powered versions are also available, or the Tri Light LED signal with magnetic mounting. Audible signals include the EcoBlast air operated horns and the LK series of hand operated evacuation sirens. These are particularly useful for blasting trucks, remote drilling sites and accommodation villages.

WARNING LIGHTS AND SIGNALS

Mechtric can offer a vast range of warning beacons for every conceivable application, including rotating beacons, flashing beacons, Xenon strobe beacons and LED beacons. We can supply from small panel mounting indicators to large high-power strobe lights for aircraft obstruction warning on masts and antenna. Our range includes LED or conventional "traffic light" type signals for loading bay control, weigh bridges or traffic control.

SIRENS AND SOUNDERS

Our range of audible signals includes electro-mechanical and air operated horns, bells, buzzers, electronic sounders, and motorised sirens. From small low output buzzers for plant control rooms, electronic sounders for conveyor start up signals, and up to large 140+ dB sirens for plant evacuation we have signalling device to suit almost any mining or industrial application.

HAZARDOUS AREA SIGNALS

For oil and gas installation, Mechtric offer a comprehensive range of electronic sounders, sirens and beacons with IECEX, ATEX, and UL approvals. We can supply both EXD and intrinsically safe devices for use in both explosive gas and DIP applications.

VEHICLE BEACONS

Our range of vehicle warning beacons include low cost rotating and xenon flashing lights and light bars with fixed or magnetic mounting options. In addition Mechtric supply a range of heavy-duty vehicle beacons for use on mining and earthmoving plants. This range includes rotating or flashing beacons with rubber bases to extend lamp life by reducing vibration, flexible bases to prevent beacon damage from overhead obstructions and high-power long life rotating or flashing LED beacons.
